Pov (William RASOANAIVO) is a self-taught cartoonist born in Antananarivo, Madagascar. He began his professional career in 1997 in the daily Midi Madagasikara. Journalism training in Berlin and Cardiff shaped his way of drawing in the press. In 2006, he settled in Mauritius where he is daily cartooning for the daily l’Express and for international press. His editorial cartoons have earned him international prizes and recognitions. Also, a comicbook artist ( he regularily publishes graphic novels) and a graphic artist, his work varies from comic strips to the creation of graphic communication tools, illustration of children's books, school and didactic manuals.
