About me!

My name is William Rasoanaivo, a.k.a. Pov. I have been a professional content creator for over 27 years. My natural abilities to draw which made me a self-taught designer, combined with my journalistic experiences in the editorial staff of the daily Midi Madagascar and through training in journalism institutes in Berlin and Cardiff allowed me to specialize in the creation of drawing messages. This is how I have always worked in the press as an editorial cartoonist, first in Madagascar, the country where I was born in 1975, then in Mauritius where I have lived since 2006 and work as an editorial cartoonist for the newspaper L 'express. From time to time, my drawings are also published in the international press. My activities as a press cartoonist have earned me international recognition.
Outside of the press, I collaborate with state or non-governmental organizations, as well as public or private companies to create images conveying their messages, raising awareness (reforestation, fight against gender-based violence, etc.), instructing (use of telephones, etc.), educating (school books) and supporting external or internal communication (publicizing brands, company activities, etc.). I use my characteristic humor when necessary, otherwise I can be just as measured depending on the nature of the post. I regularly work with publishers to publish comics and graphic novels in the entertainment field.
